Appointments & Cancellations

We're a small clinic with a limited number of appointment times. When an appointment is cancelled at short notice, that time usually can't be filled — and another patient who needed it misses out.

 

This policy is here so everyone's time is respected. Yours and ours.

 

Confirming your appointment

 

You'll get a reminder before your appointment. Please reply to confirm you're coming. If we don't hear from you, we may offer your appointment to another patient who is waiting.

 

If you need to change or cancel

 

Please give us as much notice as you can. A phone call, or a reply to your reminder, is all we need.

 

More than 24 hours' notice — no charge.

Less than 24 hours' notice — half the session fee.

Less than 6 hours' notice, or not arriving without telling us — the full session fee.

Rescheduling counts the same as cancelling. Moving an appointment two hours beforehand still leaves that time empty.

 

If something unavoidable happens

 

Sudden illness, an emergency, something genuinely outside your control — please tell us. We look at these case by case.
